i used to have belltech blocks but i wanted JTR setback plates and they mate up perfectly to JTR blocks so i switched out my whole belltech setup for them. Real solid stuff. personally i would go that route.

But belltech or djm is fine too but im pretty sure the ceter pin hole needs to be drilled out some to fit with setbacks IIRC.

 

Ok so I ordered jtr set back plate already. What works with them?

Any blocks will work with their set back plates but their billet blocks are really nice and very durable. Summit sells cast iron blocks similar to what I run and DJM makes steel blocks. Moral of the story is stay away from the cheap cast aluminum blocks if you can.

 

avoid cast aluminum blocks like a hooker with herpes, aids AND the plague... cast blocks are crap. At least get extruded aluminum if not cast iron, steel or billet blocks.

 

I'm just going to dish out the extra $30 and get the jtr blocks.

 

im glad you went this direction, you wont be disappointed. very nice blocks and best heavy duty u-bolts ive seen provided with blocks.

 

make sure they blocks are super tight when you put the new ones in mine lossend of and they have made some problems like the axel doing weird shat. i have belltech drop springs what is wrong with em ? kinda curious why every one is hating on em? i wanna do the bell tech leafs and spindles to?

 

If you torque them to the proper spec and then re-torque them after a couple hundred miles like they tell you to and that wouldn't have happened.

everyone hates belltech coils cuz they suck. Theyre way the hell too soft and many members get too much drop from them (3" coils taking 4.5") so they ride like crap.

I knew better. I started looking in into it and said f it. Would any control arm from 94-2001 work s10,sonoma,blazer are they all the same.

i always torque my u bolts to 75ft lbs and never have problems with them coming loose or blocks shifting.

If I'm not to late don't forget about the chevy lean spacer just in case. I think you can get it from belltech if I remember correctly if not check summit I know they carry some.

i got the 3" drop coils from belltech i will see how it rides here i need a bit softer here where i live the roads are not the best, just worried i might ahve ti change my tire set up wont be able to turn

 

I tried clicking on the link the correct way to fix Chevy lean. It tells me I don't have permission too. What's up with that? It's just the spacer on the passenger side correct.

 

spacer goes on Driver side, or which ever side sits lower... which is the drivers side unless you screwed up putting the coils in

 

I'm just going to put parts and see if I need after. I cant really be sure if it has with this jacked up down.

 

That's what I would do too. My truck truck has a bit of a lean and I didn't even bother with a spacer, it's not a big enough difference for me to care.

 

I'm installing the coils and they have the rubber insulator . What do I do ?
