douse anyone know where i can find a 4.3 shortblock... i am not looking for something with power since this one is for my daily driver and not my toy... i was thinking of geting one from the bone yard but if i can find a good priced ready assembled shortblock it will save me alot of headache...

I don't know about the price or avalibity, but my buddy bought a 4.0l for a '98 ranger from napa... I don't know if they still sell short block 4.3's but I don't know why not. as far as longjevity... I don't know, he hydralocked it after about 25k miles, but it ran better than the stock one ever did.
