Battery box..Needs some bondo and paint but its not bad at all for 1 hour of work
Image

good night shot
Measured for the battery wires
Buyin some tommarow.
And for the negative wire..Their are 3 grounds..One to the block, one to the core support and one to the frame. So i plan on putting my battery in my bed which means im gunna ground the battery to the frame and the frame to the block. Will i need the ground to the core support?
For the ABS.. Can i just cut those wires and call it good?
thanks

So after 2 hours in the paint shop i finally picked it.
Dupont Hot Hues Harvest Flame
Cost me $857 For Gallon+ a quart of base/clear and everything to spray it.
I cant wait!!!!

thanks for the good words!! It keeps me motivated

looks good. but i must say, you should really look into doing a base clear. you would be helping yourself out by a long shot, its easier to spray, turns out nicer and it doesnt take that much wet sanding and buffing the clear out for it to be a smoooth paintjob. also, its not that expensive, if you go with a dupont chroma base thats pretty decently priced, thats what i went with and then all you need is the dupont chroma clear, i tihnk is what its called, but they have so many colors that you could probably find that hot hues color in regular base clear and save you some cash, for paint and clear i only paid right around 480.

WOW after reading all 5 pages... WOW you went through ALOT and then the accident. thats why people have trailer queens... but I would never own something that I didn't ride alot. You totally have motovated me... I have been putting off welding in some 39 ford tails.... gona do them tomorrow!!! keep it up!

i could have swore the hot hues colors were a tri coat but maybe not? i guess you didnt specify that you were using bc/cc. it will just make your life easier and i think youll be happier with the end result with it. less time wet sanding it sprays out more even and smooth as compared to single stage.
