1 3/4 primaries. i got the kit from speedway motors they have both 1 5/8 and 3/4. its an 86 jimmy. not sure on the t56 but i hope they clear cause i would love to have one when my 700r4 gives up. the set up is a 5.3 i ported the heads, converted to carb. and it has the gm ASA cam ( little bigger than the hot cam) i havent fired it up yet but im lookin for 450-460 hp i also match ported the intake and im running the msd 6ls box and a ls2 pan with plenty of clearance.

the ASA cam is pretty close in size to the cam that carcraft used on their 5.3 buildup and it made 460 hp with heads cam carb. intake and headers. so im freakin ready to crank mine all i lack is wiring and driveshaft and a bunch of other stuff i probably forgot.. ill have to get a pic of the driverside header and post it which reminds me that i have to get a steering shaft made too!

i paid 179 for the header kit then 100 for the high temp powder coating and 90 for the stainless v band collector rings so about 370 plus a bunch of hours after workin 2nd shift at the machine shop workin on it from 2-7 before 1st shift got in! heres the temp. steering shaft i made up from a swivel and an extension so i could move it around til i get a shaft made. the rear tube wouldnt clear the big honkin stock knuckle.
