Loud pop engine bay

Yesterday my blazer made a loud pop. Sounded more of a belt popping.
After pop engine ran as it should and power steering pump stopped wining(input shaft seal bad) is it possible input seal reseated itself don't want to waste money adding power steering fluid when I was planning on replacing pump anyways.
Power steering pump also started smoking from heat when I got to my destination 20 minute drive

If the pump was hot enough to be smoking, something is obviously wrong...

I would pull the belt and spin it by hand. Check all the accessories. Something could be seized. Just look around for anything broken.

The output shaft completely snapped. Pulled a new pump from junk yard and Got it installed. Every startup from cold it stalls.
Right after switching pump It stalled 1st start fired up 2nd.
This morning stalled 3 or 4 times then fired up.
