oh and just because i'm 18 doesn't mean a thing... let's see i've been working on custom cars since i was about 8. the first car i ever got to work on wasn't mine but it's sweet, it was finished in 1994, it's been re-done 3 times, first it was purple with green flames, then we put magenta flames on it, then the garage was hit by lightning, then we painted it orange, then in 2000 we gave it a "facelift" and put the 1937 ford grille. oh yes, and it's a 1939 Pontiac with 35 body modifications, this is the car i learned on... now i'm refining my skills on my Corvette,

i've never had the money to do my own until just recently, (it's still under construction)

i like them....i wouldn't put them on my truck and drive around withthem, but its a good look IMO...doesn't hurt to go out on a limb, and its a good old school look on top of that...would be awesome with like a 283 under the hood and even a louver hood....well maybe not a louver hood...but some other old school refinements and that would be a nice truck....

all it is is paint not primer, it's just a flat black, that's not pourious like primer

DP90 IS a primer/sealer. It's harder and more durable than regular primer but still shouldn't be used as a topcoat(It will eventually rust through if that is all that is used). Dupont makes a new paint that is satin finish. You can also use single stage paint with a flattener to acheive the flat black look.
