Actually to me $500 sounds pretty cheap to have it done, if that's the total cost including parts too. There's a lot of labor involved, basically the whole dash has to be removed and the heater box has to be loosened up from the firewall to pop it out.

 

It's a big job. Some of the super-mechanics here may say otherwise.

 

I've heard its not a fun task, cuz someone thought mine may be goin out and they told me that

 

pay the money, i did it on mine and it sucked some huge balls. Dash doesnt actually come out, there is a way to just tilt the dash forward. even knowing this it took me all day to finish the job and I have left over parts. lol

 

has your core busted, or are you just not getting heat?
