You sure the 98 is 10mm? Mine were 8mm ARP part # 134-7201. Not sure exactly what year they changed from 10mm to 8mm.

 

Comp cams used to have them i think, I looked into it a couple years or so ago and they had them then. I didnt have much luck with Jegs or Summit understanding what I was trying to do.

 

im sure they are 10 mm. I can get a set from summit for a 60 degree v6 that are 1/4 inch shorter than the 8 mm ones i have, but i cant get them till tuesday

those might work for you. the're longer than the ARP ones I used, but they might work. It's prolly the same ones you could get from Summit.

yea, thats what im looking at, gotta have em NOW! so....took the studs out of an older 2.8 and machining the tops down to 3/8 hope it works, at least so i can get the truck on the trailer tommorrow night

 

somebody has to have succedded in putting comp pro mags in a 98 s-10 with the 10mm rocker stud holes!!!

  • These are actually listed for 60degreev6 early 80's chevy, but it's what these heads need .

Summit racing has them, they are a little bit more than I'd thought they should be, but there was no choice.

 

too short for me. Gonna use 134-7104 and run a die down on the bottom to turn the 7/16 to the 10mm
