help fast----when heat is on the window fogs up

ok my heat is messed up or something every time i turn on the heat my windsheld gets a film over it like a wax type stuff and u try to clean it off and it smears but it looks like its just foged up any idea what could casue this

sounds to me like your heat core is going bad. Thats what mine did and I couldnt figure it out and then a couple days later it started leaking. I havent had it do it since I replaced my heat core.

it has a smell to it but not all the time. more like anti-freeze type smell i guess and also the glue stuff that holds the windsheld the gule when it gets warm it like runs down the winsheld but that cant be the main problem cuz my side windows on the front doors have the film mist stuff on them also

no you just have to get the pass side of the dash to pull out a couple inches. Its really not that bad to do I had it done in a few hours. The fun part for me was the ppl that owned my truck before me had re wired the radio and put all the wires behind the access panel in the glovebox.

ok thanks for the help alot guess ill have to fix this i pulled a dash out of my other blazer but never thought bout trying to remember how i did it cuz im not putting that one back in im doing a custom dash maybe time for a covered dash when i put it back in lol but thanks alot

I had the same problem about 2 1/2 years ago. My windshield CONSTANTLY looked like this, it was freaking annoying.

(Don't mind the fuzzy dice, I had them in there for like 2 days before ripping them off and throwing them away :haha:)

ok so i got the heater core in and now i cant get the blower motor to work. when i took the holse off i guess i knocked a wire out of place its a purple wire and its a hot wire i tested it. i think it goes to the blower motor but im not sure where it hooks up at any help thanks
