Headrests...they don't even reach my head!!

OK, call me paranoid but driving in the big city I can't help but think that someone is going to rear-end me and my head is gonna smack the rear window. I drive a 96 S-10 standard cab with 60/40 seats and the headrests stop about shoulder height. Has anyone seen an add-on headrest support or something that mounts to the rear window for added support and protection?

Thanks,

Haven't seen any supports, but my 2000 60/40 seats have headrest that come up like your wanting to have.

If safety is a concern you can possibly locate a set of these seats to put in your truck, it's a direct bolt in. They come up for sale quite often because people swap these out a lot for buckets.

I just bought some used leather seats that were exact drop-ins, so, great idea but not the direction I want. Maybe I'll wear a motorcycle helmet everytime I get in my truck. :haha:
I'm just keeping my eyes open on something that will do the job and look half way cool.

yup, check out 98+ they have an annoyingly talll headrest on both buckets and split bench. some 98+ blazers/jimmy/bravada have an adjustable headrest, adjusts height and also pivots forward so it actually supports your head, instead of being 4-5" behind you..
