actaully looks pretty darn good from what i can see. nothing wrong with a maaco paintjob... (at some maaco's) and depends on the manager. maaco's are ok for everyday driver... and... if you pay 'em enough... theyre good for a show truck or whatever. but, it does look pretty good for a cheapie job

Umm, I think I'll pass on that one.

 

I agree it looks decent,Thought about Maaco myself for the daily.

 

$850 for this paintjob with almost 6 hours of body work done on it. So if it is straight and no dents in it or anything you should be looking at around $600 or so bucks for the same kind of job

take off the hanldes, front bumper and lower valence and have them paint them too.. i can only guess that it will be cheaper if you take off the parts...

A guy that lives across the street from my cousins house bought a gallon of red paint and used a paint roller to paint his car. It's gone now but my cousin may have taken some pics, I'll see if I can find them.

 

Well I want to in the next few weeks get together the parts to convert the front end to a 98+ and get a chrome wrap around bumper for the back, mine is bent to shit, and Toady your always the one giving people shit for Maaco so I figured you would

Nothing wrong with Maaco paint jobs. I"m sure your truck looks 100% better now than it did before you had it painted. Maaco paint jobs have thier place. Looks good to me.

 

haha it was two tone before white bed red cab lol. It looks a million times better...would it be bad to wax or polish it now or would that screw with the paint? I have no idea

 

the recommended wait period is 90 days before wax, polish is fine, but absolutely no wax

 

i wouldn't wax it for a month or so..

sure it looks good now, but hopefully it will hold up well over time.

 

Maaco can be good or bad...depends on the shop and if you pay more, you "might" get a better job done. My friend had his Mustang painted a few years ago, and his wheels had overspray on them. Otherwise, the paint looked ok.

 

I got a bit of overspray on mine, but my wheels are shitty anyways so I didn't really care, hopin to get some new wheels this week
