uhm, i dont think thats gonna work, but if you wanna try..... The envoy headlamps will be about 350 from gmpartsdirect. Buy the HID ballast off of ebay, make sure to get phillips, and talk to samandjen1 about a wiring harness and relays needed should cost about 250 for the ballast and bulbs (theyre a certain kind, talk to samandjen to find out what size). Check for the part number on the grille in the exterior section of the forum, it shouldnt cost more then 90.

 

what heath said, the GMC grill hangs down loer then the lights, where the lights may fit the grill wont because your bumper goes strait accross. The HID's again as stated above should be Phillips and can be purchased on e-bay for $250, as i did. and "samandjen1" is the man when it comes to HID questions, (not to mention anything else you wanna know) HIDs are awsome glad i did em. good luck with it all,

You can use the x bumper but you will have a gap there.

You can cut the S10 grill down and mod it( I have pics but they are on my home comp) I will post later if I still have them.

wow thanks for all the info! Thats HUGEE gap! But i want to keep my front gfx bumper... so maybe i'll have a shop do some plastic welding so i can have the best of both worlds....It's just hard getting an idea of what it would look like with the envoy front end with the xtreme air dam...i'm not sure if it would look good or not.

Because I want to get HID's but i'm pretty sure they won't work to good in my halo projectors for some reason... i've heard from one other person that the light output wasn't that great with the HID's in the halo's.

I read a post a few days back about a guy that turned his sonoma into an extreme by adding all the factory extreme ground effects. He called it "extremenoma" or something like that. I'll try and find it and if I can I'll post a link. It looked really good.

 

i have a 94 sonoma and i'm doing the envoy conversion over winter. will newer model sonoma headlights 98+ bolt up or do i need to replace the bracket? i guess ill need a new grill too.
