im sure he would. but he said in one of his other posts a while back all he has is 4.3L's in his shop. might be hard to make a 2.2 bracket when he doesnt have one. lolohsolos10 said:forget the 98 up theres already a kit for that let focus on those of us who dont have a kit lol

Because thats how that tensioner works. At least with my alternator. I had to make a few adjustments for my PowerMaster alternator. It has a larger fan assembly and a physically larger diameter. I had to clearance the engine driven compressor mount and notch one of the support brackets that crossed over top of the alternator. The belt absolutely would not fit under the pulley. It does get adaquate tension as it is. Although the next size smaller belt would allow for more adjustment as it wore and stretched.Doc said:why do you have the belt above the tensioner pulley?? just curious....
My alternator pulley is offset from the OE one. When I route the belt like that, I would have to push the tensioner pulley down to the point it contacts my alternator pulley before any tension is on the belt.Doc said:its supposed to be like this...
