Hey jason if you need some people to test them out, I will help. I would even pay for them just to test the durabilty for ya. Kind of like R&D. But I am sure yours are built like shit brick houses, they are not going to break!! I want to see some pictures of them too. I have an S-10 that needs to be worked on. And you the man when it comes to parts that last.

why do you have the belt above the tensioner pulley?? just curious....
Because thats how that tensioner works. At least with my alternator. I had to make a few adjustments for my PowerMaster alternator. It has a larger fan assembly and a physically larger diameter. I had to clearance the engine driven compressor mount and notch one of the support brackets that crossed over top of the alternator. The belt absolutely would not fit under the pulley. It does get adaquate tension as it is. Although the next size smaller belt would allow for more adjustment as it wore and stretched.

Edit: Here's pics of what I was talking about.

This is where I had to clearance the main bracket.

Here is the origional support and where it should go. It just can't go down far enough to line up the bolt holes.

Here is where I notched the support to clear the larger alternator before I cleaned it up.

HTH someone out there.
