Same here. Anyone know if the pre-Vortec 350 brackets will fit a 93 4.3?

i have some really nice brackets for the older tbi 4.3 v6.
it is a 3 piece bracket and is made for the sanden but can my modified easily for a york.

it mounts far left on the motor. i will take some pics of it if anyone is interested in it.

Im interested I got two yorks sitting in my Garage and no bracket, well one Im supposed to install on a Mazda in exchange for the other.

depends if you have the tbi motor. if you have the newer style cpi vortec motor i dont know if it will fit.

 

the motor i have isnt a vortec, i know that much. i can check tomorrow.

 

let me see what i can do. only 4.3 brackets at first though. thats all i have in my trucks.

I just ordered my bracket from www.onboardair.com, it's made for the older sepentine brackets on chevy 4.3 and V8's, Mine takes the place of the stock ac compressor and cost me $35. I'm not using air in my Jimmy.

They sell one that mounts on the side of the alternator (drivers side) for $175, thats a little pricey for some flat steel and a few L brackets. but thats the price you pay to keep AC I guess.

I'll do a step by step when I get everything in, with pics.

I sell the brackets for the York 209 which is a better compressor to use for the application your looking for, The 210's are bigger and seem to be a tad to big and need a little more modification to fit...

i have heard alot of people bitch about having problems using the 209 vs. 210 version so i picked up the 210 version now all i need is some hydralic hose and some brackets ... feel like making some jon?
