I just installed 4" drop blocks on my extended cab s10. Im bagged in the front. So I took it for a test ride. When I take off from a stop, I feel this vibration then it goes away. I think its from the driveshaft. Any way to fix this?

yeah? sometimes the angled blocks are not enough and shims still need to be added, if even more than that is needed then you can get the driveline kit from JTR that includes carrier bearing spacer, tranny mount spacer, and shims. It all depends on how bad your angle is off on what you will need to correct it.
Thanks for the help man. Im going to pick a that angle gauge tonight and ill PM you tomorrow afternoon with the measurements. These are all i need right?
the transmission output shaft, the front driveshaft, the rear driveshaft, and the pinion shaft on the rearend.
Our 01 x cab did this before and after our 2/3 drop on a ZQ8. Its more of a shudder just as you take off; gone as soon as you're rolling. No vibration at any other speed.
Is this what yours is doing?
Are we still chasing pinion angle for this issue?
I have a 95 Ext cab with spindle / spring drop in the front and 3" block and removed one leaf in the rear. I have a shimmy problem at take off also and it goes away after about 10-15 MPH. I just bought the truck and trying to find out what the angles should be to cure the problem. It has 3" non angled blocks in the rear. Here is a pic of the truck also just for kicks:
@bdmridgeback- have you measured your angles yet? If flat blocks were used and no pinion shims were added then the pinion angle is more than likely off. Ext cabs need either angled blocks or pinion shims to help correct the angle.
