So Ive got a 94 dime and cant seem to find a replacement dash as mine is starting to peel up and separate. Does anyone know of any solution to this that is not one of those dash caps?

At my local salvage yard they have plenty of good 94-97 dashes that is where i got mine at and is in real good condition. Would you like me to look and see what exactly they have. Mine is also a 94, the dash is out of a 96 and fit perfect just had to reuse my old dash bazel.

ill be sure too should be going sometime with in the next month its a 75 mile trip lol. I wish they had a Full dash cap because the one i was going to have installed on my old one only came to the glove box. would have left one hell of a seam.

Sorry, I should have mentioned it, I found that to be the case. The 94 bezel will not fit the 95-97 dash- I had to drive back to the boneyard without a bezel and find one. You'll have to get one with the headlight switch and dimmer plate installed; the 94 switch plate is just a hair too big to fit the bezel (the switches themselves are the same 94-97 though and the yard guys will charge for those in addition to the plastic) all your radio and a/c controls can be re-used. Other minor differences are the relays that sit inside the dash to the left of the ashtray are located behind a removable panel in the glovebox and the "convenience center" (where accesories like foglights plug in) has a different mount in the 95-97. I made a small bracket for relays insde the knee bolster, and I ended up just tucking the convenience center in the knee bolster left of the steering column. One other item of note- the plug for the instrument cluster in the 95-97 is 32 pins and the 94 is 26; yours will fit snugly on the left side of the openng with no problems. If you want to swap clusters to the 100mph speedo check my post in the electrical section of the forum. I just recently went from the 94 speedo w/o tach to a 95 cluster with a tach.

Almost forgot- make sure you get the lower left panel, since the parking brake has been moved to the removable part in the newer dash, and the ashtray is wider and sits at a slightly different angle so the old one won't fit. If you don't already have one, look for a lower panel with the extra power ports on either side of the lighter- the wiring connectors are already in your truck and they come in handy sometimes.
