Core Support to Frame Bolts - 98 S10

I'm mounting the core support back on my frame, and I can't remember exactly how this rubber bushing fits. I assume it sits inside the core support, and then the bolt threads through it. Then the big metal washer and nut go on the bottom.

Thanks!

Hi all, I am using this message as a reference to ask a question.

First a little background. I am working on a project truck, a 1984 S-10 and am reassembling the front end sheet metal which I took off several years ago to refurbish the body and chassis. I am trying to attach the core support and even with factory GM bolts to mount the core support, I am having a problem doing it. When I try to tighten the factory bolts down, they seem to tighten up way too quickly and I don't want to snap anything or strip out the nut plates that are on the core support. There isn't a whole lot of room in the space for installing the bolts and I have included a couple of pictures to show what I am trying to do.

Has anyone else run into this problem when re-installing the core support? I am hoping to put on a couple of pictures. If they don't come through, it is my lack of skill at this.

I've never seen any trucks with part #5 in them. #7 is the lower rubber cushion. You're missing both rubber pieces by the looks of your first pic. From top to bottom it goes small washer, body mount bushing, frame, cushion, large mount washer(the one next to the bolt on the right in the first picture, then the nut.

It looks like you have both bolts, both nuts, both large mount washers, both small washers, and the remnants of one of the body mount bushings. The other rubber thing in the picture is the lower radiator mount bushing that goes onto the little legs on the bottom of the radiator. The mount that you posted is exactly what the factory S10 mounts look like, and they're in the correct order in the pic.
