Well I'm working on my fiance's 91 Jimmy 4.3l 4x4. The other day the ac and all the other climate controls stopped working...good thing it was ONLY 97 yesterday. The AC compressor will kick on when the switch is set to AC but we get no blowing out of the vents, on any setting (i.e. heat, vent, ac on any level low thru high)
Anyways, I thought it was probably a fuse, but the climate control fuse is good...I replaced the relay (I think it's mounted on the blower motor housing), that did not solve the probelm. I swapped out the fan speed control switch, nothing then the blower motor and nothing.
I pulled the interior panel off and both (the fan speed and selector switch) are connected. I pulled the plug out of the relay and the red wire is getting 12 volts constant but none of the other wires gets any juice when the car is off/on or on with the climate controls set to any setting.
Is there another relay or fuse that I am missing?
Thanks in advance
Jonathan
