I am almost finished restoring and customizing an 85 SS MC and someone gave me an 85 S-10. I figured since my studio is still next door to a body shop and I have extensive background and experience in fabrication and general autobody repair, I'd start to chip away at this truck. Most of what I see that I want to do involves a 2nd Gen front clip (body lines and rear fender wells can always be made to flow - as long as you have an imagination and open to constructive/destructive criticism), and if it's possible, I'd like to start like right now.

wish i got a chance to talk to that dood. id like to know where exactly he had to cut the fenders to mold them toogether.. looks real good. hes just gotta finish shaving the body line. if i remember correctly he didnt shave the bed.dagreenmonster said:
Hell there was a first gen blazer in minitruckin a while back that had a noma front on it. Had 2nd gen dash and door panels.. It was pretty pimp. I'll try to find pics of it. It was even on Trucks on Spike. And if I remember right they said that they were going to give away the truck.

Thanks for the replies, I'm definitely going to make a move on this truck soon. I thought about rebuilding the 305 I took out of the Monte and sticking a TPI from an IROC on top and planting that sucker in there.....then I thought about the price of gas and how I'd probably benefit from keeping the 2.5 in there. I'll be posting pics of progress as soon as I can make up my mind on that front end.....
