the older BMW wheels fit with small mods. They have a 120 mm circle and our s-10s have a 121mm. My friend has run them for years on his truck without spacers. I have 18 in. R&H porsche cup wheels on mine,with adpt,s of course.

5-120.65 actually, but whose counting. The 3 series wheels have a high offset like FWD cars so you will need some type of spacer if not just because of the length of our front hubs, so you can put the center caps on. Now if you have a 4wd they will probably work.

 

BMW 5 and 7 series wheels, will fit an s-10, but BMW wheels are hub centric, you may need to increase the center bore of the wheel a little, I had 17" MAK wheels off a 7 series BMW on my s-10 and I use 1/2 wheel adapters to get them to clear my hub, cause I didn't want to grind the centerbore of the wheel.
