I dont know what the IFS or SFA stands for because there is two different forum categories, but lets hope this is the right section for this.. ok i have a Chevy blazer s10 1993, its a stick shift 5-speed, and wondering if its worth getting a suspension lift on it. Also, what size is the lift on this s10 blazer.. heres the pics ( http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3362927 ) and what type of tires does it look like it uses?

im just trying to find a good size lift on the blazer s10 and this one actually looks the best iv seen so far, any help would be appreciated thanks =)

IFS=Independant Front Suspension which is what our trucks have from the factory. SFA=Straight Front Axle where you swap out a solid/straight front axle (usually a Dana 30 or 44 from a Cherokee, etc) to the front of your truck. Larger lift and a bit more rugged off road.

With that said, the truck in the pics must be running an SFA. It doesn't appear he's trimmed his fenders much (if at all) and he says he's running 35" tires. 1st gen trucks might have room for slightly larger tires than 2nd gen (or not...I don't know 1st gens) but 2nd gens are pushing it to run 33s without SFA.
