basically the bottom end is stock rebuild, 9.5 to 1 pistons, heads and intake have port matched, 488 lift cam 280 duration single pattern, same on both intake and exhaust, 1.5 ratio rockers on intake side, 1.6 on exhaust side, weiand 4 barrel intake with a 600 cfm edlebrock. this setup dynoed @ about 350hp.
it should get me down the road pretty well.

I would say about $2500.00, but that includes the cost of the motor too. Bought new headers, new carb, new distributor, wires, coil, radiator, electric fans, clutch kit, and had new exhaust made. But if you look around, you can get it done cheaper than what I paid.

First Ride!

I took my first ride today! Out of the five V-8 trucks that I have built, this has got to be my favorite. The 5 speed makes all the difference in the world. From 5th to 3rd at 55mph, It just puts you in the seat with a vengence. Wife won't ride in it, mission accomplished!:scary:
