I talk to bladehines about this, but just wondering if anyone has done it. I want to put 3 RE8s in my std cab. I want no loss of legroom, but also i have sunfire buckets. I was wondering would a ported or sealed enclosure be better? Anyone have detailed box plans? Do you guys brace the inside of the box anywhere? How are your ports made, placed, held in, and dimensions. Also, whats a good brand amp to pound these subs with. THANKS FOR ANY HELP!

I wish I could come hear your system blade. I remember years ago sitin in my cousins car, when it was hittin you literally could feel your insides shake and could barely breath. Is it anything like that? Then again that set up did somthin like 155+ out law. My goal is to one day have a system like that.

Yea i understood what you was talking about. If you go with 2 go ported. but if you went with 4 or more go sealed.

No doubt that this guy is right. If your going with 2 8's then go ported, if your going with 4 or more, then go sealed. You won't be disappointed

Personally I would either do 4 sealed or 2 ported. 3 sealed wont hit as hard as two ported I feel. 4 sealed should hit as hard as 2 ported if not harder. As well as 3 subs you run into wiring probems for your amp, well not problems but it makes it a bit more confusing. Oh and by the way there around . 2-.3 cubes sealed and right at .5 cubes ported for the re8. No matter what you do im sure youll be very happy with the re8, I know I am.
id have to disagree with that...my 2 sealed 8s hit pretty damn hard in my std cab, so 4 sealed wuld SLAAAM

Never said they wouldnt lol. Just saying if you only go with 2 you may as well port them. My 2 ported hit insanely hard. I had them sealed for a few days and will take the 2 ported any day over sealed.http://www.s10forum.com/forum/images/smilies/tongue.gif Although I will be doing four sealed with in some time, proly next winter.
