Hi i was wondering if i would melt the wires on my setup rightnow if i decided to chuck 100 W bulbs instead of the 55W bulbs. I have a set of fog lights that i bought from walmart and one of them burnt out so i decided to purchase some 100W bulbs but now i was wondering if the 100 W bulbs would melt the wiring or even the housing. I live out in the middle of no where and the added brightness would help me to see more mouse and deer at night in our very windy roads.

my father runs them on his full size for the exact reasons you stated. he just adds a relay in the system somewhere. I'm ass at electrical so that's all I know but it is possible and not difficult.
