I just bought a 99 2.2 whith just about every bolt-on mod. the only problem I have with it is that it just doesn't have any power on the freeway. so, what should I do?

custom turbo kit, it'll cost ya, but it'll be rare, nice looking truck man, or you could always swap it out and drop in a ls1 motor and that'll fix the problem
What mods have you done so far??? I know I have that same problem in fifth gear, so I downshift if I want to go. Is it auto or manual? You could also get new gears, so the rpms are higher and of course more power. But if you do that, you lose gas milage. I know almost nothing about actually doing the swap, but would like to do it sometime soon.

damn......I'm surprised that the low end isn't your downfall....with my exhaust setup I lose to stock s-10's from a stop, but I can take em from like 30 and above cause my exhaust lost low end in first like crazy, but helped a lot on the highway (single inlet dual outlet all the way back to some nice tips)
with a header and a dual chamber flow you should have my same problem and have no go at the start and get it the best on the highway.....
I'm going nitrous, just do that too.....

I think I might know what your problem is... you used to have a more powerful car... now you have a 4cyl. I had that problem for a few minutes... but then I figured out that the little less power was worth it in the style compared to a faster minivan 
. But that minivan was quick! My brother raced it against his friends 3000gt and killed it!, but then I laughed, because it is a minivan!!!!

But....you have a 6 cylinder.....we have 4 bangers, and with 3.73's in the rear, mine feels slow......thats why I'm getting the nitrous

Hmmm, maybe the computer was not compensating for all the airflow like the stock computer can??
