i paid $900 for mine 91' 2.5 5 speed. 72k miles cleanish exterior no tailgate or rear bumper. rusted inside the bed (sat with leaves in it for a few year) and a little rot on the front fender mounts (inside)
fresh tune up ran great.

i have a lot more in it but not in the 2.5 that will see the end of the road one of these days (5.3 - 6speed)
 
I got my 87 Regular Cab for $100 locally around my area just sitting there.
Was told by the owner that he wasnt sure if it still ran cuz it had been sitting there.

Has 210K miles on 4 banger manual 4 speed tranny.... yup 4 speed!! lol
All it needed was a quick tune up and clutch fluid and ran perfectly for about 4 months as a daily.

It is currently undergoing a rebuild, one of the pistons took a crap and messed up the cylinder wall..... in the process of honing it out and complete tear down, clean, and rebuild.

Possibly a 350 engine swap.... =)
 
900.00, 168xxx on the clock. pretty clean other than the electrical which I have almost straight now. 2.5w/4spd, that little motor pulls pretty solid still. A lot more than I expected out of it anyhow. Either way Im hooked! Ill probably have this thing for quite some time considering I went from a truck getting 12MPG to this 2.5 and Im getting 26MPG. Not to mention all the crap you can do to this thing!
 
$200 its a 89,s15,5spd,ext cab little rust on the bottom of the ext cab part,230,000 miles on it. i got it so cheap cause the guy didnt know why it wasnt getting no oil pressure, it didnt bother me it wasnt making any noise, it got like barely 15 psi when on the highway like 1yr later when the motor just locked up on me i tore it down and found out the dumbass never even bolted it up
 
i payed 200 dollars for mine. mechanics special, no one could figure out that the OG coil was on its last leg. ive put less than 100 dollars into needed parts since then. now its dropped 3/3 flat black,billet grill, soon to have shaved handles& antenna, and its goin lower
 
well, i just bought an 88 all original only 1 spot of rust (quarter sized) by the passengers door. original paint, shines like new, 100k garage kept, paid 1200

i passed up on a 91 with 83k had lots of rust basically needed a new bed which i talked down to 700 from 1000. these trucks seem to be high around here, lol
 
85 2.5l auto no radio no ac but great body and new tires all for 300 with new oil heads gasket kit and everything guy had no time to put back together so me and my dad did it all with about 1200 in it now and the dude will offer 2000 for it bac haha no lmao
 
i paid a hefty 200 bucks for my 89 2.5 5 speed,however the truck is totally a beater but does some sweet ass burnouts ha
 
Paid $100 for it from a co worker. he bought it new in '91. He said it wasnt running right and I could take it if I wanted. I test drove it and it had a bog at mid throttle in any gear (manual). So I bought it, gave it a tune up and runs like a champ, gave to gf. Couldn't be happier with it.
 
I paid $100 bucks for my '88 s15, an old guy that was deff owned it and stalled it at a light and thought the clutch was bad, so he sold it to me for $100 and all it needed was a battery and it was pretty straight and my '91 s10 I traded for it but I basically got it for $1500.
