Body dropped 3.5" here I am lifted all the way up I get just about 4 inches over the tires which are a little bit bigger than what are on my 17s (205/40/17).

No man I don't own a body shop or anything lol I am basically the shop b*tch there and do anything and everything I can possibly do. Although I am the best welder there though which I think may be kind of scary haha, I will try and get pics of a 03 mazda 626 I am working on tomorrow, the entire drivers side was smashed in and were cutting it out and welding in an entire new side, I'm real nervous about it though I've never done something this big.

If i can weld, anybody can.lol.It just takes time and some skill, same as with body filler. Post some pics of the project. I'm curious to how it turns out.

pretty damn nice work for a 17 yr old...i wish i had my truck b/d when i was 17 and in hs, oh wait im only 18...so im close but all i had in high school was a drop on my 18's...but then i didnt work much and i had to pay on my truck cuz its a 2000. im goin to tech to take weldin and some other shit this spring and next fall...was gonna start this fall but needed to work and save up some $$$.
then i'll either try doin a b/d on my 93 s10 or get a broke down frontier or sumthin(300zx independent rear, layin body would be nice)...if things go good i'll start doin this crap for a livin or maybe on the side with a job welding somewhere...who knows what the next yr has in store for me, but it looks like you got a good start...oh mad props on your s too, looks hella tight.

oh yea, i meant to ask u...how many cut off wheels did u go through when cuttin the pockets? i went through 2 doin my bumpstop brackets...damn things centers just wore off and fell off my grinder :dunno: ima cut mine pretty soon and i have no plasma cutter or torch, i need to invest in some tools too...all ive got is a grinder and sawzall, lol.

I don't know why everyone goes through cut off wheels like crazy but I think I only used 2 and not even half of a grinding wheel on mine. I think I want to do this kind of stuff for a living I don't know yet but I really really enjoy doing it. I would love to do an IRS in back but for now I'm just gonna get a blazer rear with disc brakes and stuff and maybe backhalf it for a long bed.

im 19 and paid for eveything on my ride...did all the work also....but man truck looks badass....u gonna link it....them monos....jsut dont look healthy...were they flipped. anyways badass keep up the good work as soon as i get another job im gonna start on my frame for my stock floor. :rawk:

Ya its flipped, my entire rear setup will be all custom soon with lots of chrome and paint. Anyways here I am workin on that 626...this threads probably gonna be moved to off topic now but oh well I'll still be posting more pics of my truck as I work on it here.

Thats badass man you are rocking Alba wheels like me, only I have 17" Edges. Eventually I'm gonna go with a 18/19 combo on some different billets but I'm poor. I didn't know there were that many high schoolers on here I though mostly older guys (20s and up)...also my truck is the only body dropped truck I have ever seen in person too lol.JollyGreenMini said:

I just got out of high school myself, and like you I do all my own work and fund my projets myself. I wanna bust the sawzall out b/d my shit but a daily driven body dragger isnt gonna work out too well with a New England winter. o well I wanna pick up a mid 80s isuzu or an obscure old skool mini and do it up nice, really take my time on it, but i need tha loot 1st.

HAHAHA everyone keeps giving me crap about cutting my hair so I'm cutting it tomorrow before I go out with this girl I've been talking to...I've been shaving it with like a 1 though so I look redneck style when I roll around with a beater on and all my tattoos showing haha. I defintely hear you with the winter, I was going to take my hardbody off of insurance and daily the gangsta body drop until it started getting cold outside. Damn guys all of you seeing you post on here and stuff I thought were a lot older than what you actually are.
