hey guys. just wanted to say ive been doing re-search for my truck for about 3 months now and finally decided to join lol. Anyways, I have a 2000 sonoma 2.2 2wd. Used to be bagged. now lowered. and about to be lifted. BUT! before I order my lift (3.5" fabtech of course  ) Im prett sure i need to get rid of my rims.

right now im running 18 inch american racing skars with spacers to clear tie rods. Now, I wouldnt mind just putting bigger tires on after lift, but im thinking that these wheels will put too much stress on the spindle being its an 18 and im running spacers.

If im able to run this wheel, what size tire could I use to still be able to turn full lock? I want something like a 240 tire to stick out over the wheel so curbings not an issue.

If I have to get rid of them no biggie. I picked out a set of XD xd122 15x7 with a 4 inch backspacing and want to run a pro comp ATs 30/9.50R15s. Will this be ok to use with the lift? Can I run these on stock suspension setup until I get the lift? will I need to use my spacers for these wheels to work? Rubbing the fenders in the rear on stock ride height is not a question since the rear is tubbed.

I know i have a list of questions, but any help is greatly appreciated.

Im not completely sure but i don't think you'll be able to run a 30x9.5x15 on the stock suspension without some serious rubbing in the front. After the lift it should be no problem. Im running 30x9.5x15's on my truck but i have an axle flip kit and a fabtech SA kit with 3inch coils and i just don't see being able to fit those tires at the stock susp. height at all.

hmm. Well, maybe a 2 inch lift should get it, or maybe the 3 inch lift from springtech.. due to a deal that fell threw last night I now have to get something quick. The three inch kit comes with the shocks, 3 inch coils, shackles and an upper control arm. Being as it comes with the upc I wonder how awful the alignment and wear and tear would be?

and yes, ive searched for three days and can find nothing on it.

What is the offset of your 18's? If you are already running wheel spacers to clear...it sounds like they are tucked into the fender well pretty good so I don't think you will be able to run them.

On those XD rims....make sure you ask your local dealer if they can get those rims for your bolt pattern (5x4.75). I tried to get the XD Hoss for my truck when I was buying my rims....but they did not make them in the S10 bolt pattern! :(

As Lifted97s-10 already said....I don't think you will be able to fit that setup on stock height suspension.

well now they sit flush with the fender with the spacers.. so I guess I still need to get rid of them?? and I was going to order the wheels from 4wheelparts since they are having a huge sell and when I searched for wheels for the truck I searched for wheels that were offered in a 5x4.75 pattern..

as for the lift goes, i got the money for either the 3" springtech kit with the coils, arms, shackles or the rough country 2" lift. an extra inch would be nice, but this is my DD thats torn apart right now in the garage so I need to decide soon.

Sounds like you would definately need new rims.

I think I looked at 4wheelparts for my XD's too but when I went to a store and asked if they could get them....they said no. The XD Hoss shows it is available in 5x4.75....but KMC never actually made it because they did not get a high enough demand from their dealers for them.

What is your budget? If you just want a 3" lift...I would buy spindles for the front and lift shackles for the rear. The lift spindles will keep your stock ride quality while lift coils will stiffen the ride.
