What are the dnagers of putting a 1 inch block underneath a 4 in block or vice versa

i need a lil mor edrop in the rear

thanks

wow... dont do that... im pretty sure the first corner you take the axles comin out... i thought someone made a 5 inch blocks... im pretty sure i saw em somewhere...

I dont even know how much I'd trust a 5" single block...

The axle transmits the force to the wheels and then the ground. That means that there is a reaction force equal to that which accelerates the truck being transmitted from the axle to the truck. The taller the blocks, the more moment that is placed on the U bolts that hold the axle to the leafs. Its like a longer lever arm since the blocks increase the verticle distance while the acceleration force is in the horizontal direction.

i wouldnt trust a 5" block at all...you can pull the 2nd longest leaf and itll drop 1.5" more and you will have to take your bump stops and brackets out.

im sure you guys think i rode the short bus but couldnt you just get some custom u bolts made that can handle the extra leverage? and i have a friends that rides a mono leaf and a 5 inch block with no problems.

could someone explain what happens when you stack blocks and it goes wrong?

axle wrap, leaf springs hitting the ground before frame...honestly man if you just want to go an inch lower pull a leaf or buy some leaf springs....all you gotta do is undo tha axle, undo the leaf from the shackle bend the clamps, undo the pin that holds the pack together (you'll need some vice grips, and i think 15mm) pull the middle leaf out re assemble its not hard at all.

edit:im an idiot i was thinking for some reason your the guy that started this thread.
