Racing is dead on this site

I am curious as to why there are rarely new races mentioned and the races that are mentioned are about getting beaten by a 3 cyclinder metro in your 2.2 s10. Almost every other forum has a much more active racing section. I guess s10s are meant for show and not go :rolleyes:. Not mine. My excuse is that I have no takers whenever I troll around looking, which isnt often because is not my daily driver. So post up the reasons why s10Forum has a dead racing section.

There was a thread about a dude beating a Segway. Kudos to him, I lost to a 10 speed.

i have some good kill stories, i just never had the urge to come on here and brag about them i guess. i think maybe most people feel the same way, or their trucks are turds lol

I agree with the latter. LOL. I guess this is more of a more show than go site. I have been a member for a while and havent seen many real kills in the racing section.

Whether or not street racing is gay ... S10's just take too much to make them impressively fast. Sure a nice sleeper can be fun, but it's just not that popular with trucks. Big deal.

Maybe it's because people are growing up and taking it to the track...

ya im more track oriented, and then id rather post my times rather than kills, its hard to keep track if you make a bunch of passes, unless you beat something really bad ass, then it sticks with ya. I just figure out pacific raceways is open again, I thought it started later, so ill probably head down next weekend and throw up some new times and a few kills. Street racing kills on here generally earn flaming

...because most of the people on here have a 95 horsepower cavalier motor in their 3500 pound economy truck? :dunno:
