cool thanks. anything else? I had seen something about using a coat hanger instead of the tabs on the selinoids (sp)? whats up with that?

I think that is what it was. not sure. I would assume so since that is the only logical use for it. :dunno:

Edit: I found one mention of it,.. does it sound like a good idea? or would I have problems?

I just did mine. At first I was affraid I'd mess something up, but it was easy. I had a kit and only had to mount the selinoid, run power and ground, get rid of all the rods in the door except interior handle, and bend a coat hanger in the selinoid and door latch

i would use the wire loom that should come with the kit never heard of using a coat hanger

ok cool. I am looking at the booklet that came with the kit and I noticed it has the chart showing what relays are needed to run power windows, trunk release, door locks, etc... does this mean I can run my stock electric windows with this kit? If so, how would I go about doing this?

Got the passenger side done,... had to stop due to rain. still need to hook up the emergency switch, manual pull cable, and drivers side door. and I will need poppers for sure,... door doesnt open enough. :p

-hey to run your cable-

did you buy one or did it come with it?

i bought mine from walmart it is actually a bike brake cable ($4.99) remove the linkage from the lower part of the latch the one that goes to the inside handle. then place on latch then reattach the linkage. then run it though the door jam then thur in the fender well. and then attach it there. this will cause the cable to pull straight and not at an angle and allow you to get it open. if you have any questions let me know i can try to help more.
