I have a Chevrolet 2.8 liter v6 that came out of a 85 Jeep Cherokee.. It has a 2bbl carb. Anyhow does anybody know what 5 speed tranny will work with it? I belive right now it has a automatic 3 speed with no overdrive Chrysler tranny bolted to it with a transfer case. I want to put it in a 2wd s-10.

Borg Warner T-5. With the 60 degree bellhousing of course. Good luck with the carbed 2.8L. There ****ing pieces of shit. I just put a $1200 long block in my truck along with like $1000 worth of external stuff and I wanted to drive it off of a cliff earlier. Maybe thats just me though. All that ****ing vacuum garbage with its nonstop failures.

Yeah I scrapped that idea. I'm just going to buy a older s-10 with a good running motor and pay a little more.SPRKSHW said:
