Anybody know where to get one of these things without spending 300 bucks? I know they're new, and prolly gonna be $$$$$ no matter what but if i can save a few bucks why not. :dunno:

I checked with my local dealer and they want 300 plus tax :eek:

Or if anyone knows of a comparable product let me know...I know other companies are making something similar this is the only one I know of that out already

it does quite a bit more than that...read the link i left. Line output converters are known to sound like crap. This converts it to 8v outputs like many high end h/u.

ill cross that bridge when i get to it...as of now with the equilizer on my stock h/u set to highs it dosent sound too bad...first im gonna get 2 10's (nothing huge) then im gonna replace the door/rear speakers with some new ones (still stock) if its not enough Im gonna get a amp for the mids and hgihs. I like good clear sound so most likely ill end up with it all running from ehad unit through cleansweep to amps and out speakers. and if the jl cleansweep does all it promises, itll sound great from a stock h/u..i really like my 6 disk in dash andwheel controls and dont wanna give it up

I do not think that this will do all that you want it too. This only has 1 set of outputs. This does you absolutely no good if you want to use this to convert your HU signal to use it through an amp for the subwoofer and for your mids/highs.

You would be better off to buy a four channel amp and an active crossover and run the mids/highs through that to get the desired sound from the speakers there that you are talking about. This cleansweep thing would be intersting if it offered more outputs. Since it does not, you really should look at other alternatives for what you are describing you want to do.

I know pioneer have some double din units that look fairly stock for ya.....I opted just to put in a really nice head unit......its got equalizer and everything built in and I love it

It does have 2 outputs along with an input for an mp3 player or whatever you would want to hookup.

i looked at those to...bad thing is the ones that are out all look kinda cheap...I love pioneer and know they make good stuff...but the double dins jsut look cheap.


the more I tihnk about it I might just use my pioneer xm system out of my truck and get one of those adapters to make my wheel controls work with it

I already ahve a really nice pioneer head unit...so the only cost is 50 bux for the wheel adapter, but i dont know how well they work
