I went and got the rubber brake line that goes from the caliper to the stainless steel line, and when I go to bleed the brakes, fluid leaks out of the caliper!! I have no idea what the fock to do! I have tried everything, I even tried using two washers because someone on here told me to only use one, but that didn't work. So I tried fliping the part that goes do the caliper around with the hole on top but that didnt work. Right now the little hole in the part that the banjo fitting goes through is on the bottom, is this right?? Some one please help. Here are some pics. The red circle shows where it is leaking from.

You need one of those copper washers on each side of the banjo fitting.
yep thanks it dont leek no more. But now I have a new prob. I bled the brakes and on the pass. side fluid keeps coming out of the bleeder screw and it is tightened all the way. What is going on? Do I need a new bleeder screw?, I shouldn't cause the calipers are brand new!

Double check your work. Then if needed replace the bleeder screw.

are they old calipers? if so, might as well save yourself the trouble and get rebuilt ones. There only about $10 each at autozone, and will come with brand new bleeders and such. I was havin mad problems wiht my brakes. and just replaced everything.. saved me the time of troubleshooting. And nothing is expensive, so it wasnt a huge loss.. Just the assurance of having new parts made it worth the money.

I don't think there is suppose to be. One way to make sure is if you buy a new caliper, check the bleeder screw for a o-ring. But I really don't believe the bleeder screw should have one.

there's no o-ring on the bleeder screws. it's just locktite or some shit. if they're brand new calipers they should have the bleeders on there already. where did you buy them? when i got my calipers it came with the bleeders. if i were you i'd go back and tell them you were missing the bleeders.

Don't put loctite on the bleeder screw! When you replace the old bleeder screw, check for dirt in the bleeder hole. Also, check the threads on the old screw before installing the new one. If the threads are messed up, then the threads in the hole will more than likely be messed up. Which means a new caliper is needed.

I got the calipers from NAPA and they came with the screws. The drivers side is fine but the pass. side is the side that fluid keeps coming out of. I havn't had a chance to go to the parts store to get a new screw, but I will prob. get a chance to go today, Ill let you guys know what happens.

I am just curious to how the bleeder screw is supposed to actually stop fluid from coming out when you screw it in since it has a hole in the bottom of the screw? And how does it let fluid out when you un-screw it??
