If you have a 96+ you can do the air-box mod. (not sure if it works on other years)

the only free mod that would be worth a damn is the airbox mod, just cut the bottom half of your airbox off, leaving an inch or two of material for structural purposes holding the filter in.
the TPS, IAT and diffuser mods are thoroughly worthless.
a cheap one that will do you good would be the e-fan conversion, usually you can find a taurus or a olds cutlass e-fan for like 15 bucks at a u-pull-it, then you need wiring, a fuse, a relay, and a temperature control, probably another 50 bucks at most in parts.
A good rule of thumb, is money = power, the direct answer to "how fast do you wanna go" is "how much are you willing to spend"
to me free mods dont give any measurable performance gain, and will decrease the reliability of your vehicle.

drop a 3/64" drillbit down into your intake manifold. It will swirl the air, just cuz your name is kill rice burners.
eh. on a non joking note, why cut shit up when it's not going to do anything. Save yourself the effort, and save up a little cash, do a nice intake and exhaust to start with.

do the thing i have listed in my sig. it help with making the throttle a lil more tuchy. and the airbox hack i have to say helped a lil. but really couldnt tell much till i droped a k&n.

With those mods i jump 1 car in frount of stock blazers and "verry" slowly pull off.

Yes, but cut the 2 sides away from the engine. so the box kinda is still up aginst the fuse box, and rad.Enjoithis said:
