Okay guys,
I have a shop doing my drop for me on my 99 s10 blazer. It is a 2 door and I went with a 3/3 drop. They are telling me they cannot get the tail pipe around the leaf springs, or over them or something in order to give me a rear exhaust.
I hate to turn down the pipe in the middle of the suv because it is so loud in the cabin. What are my other choices, or can someone tell me how to get it to go all the way to the rear? If I do need to go with side exhaust what are my choices for that? etc... please help

My 97 is lowered 2" in the back and I have a mandrel bent 2.5" tailpipe with no issues whatsoever.

can you do an exit right before the rear tire?
Doubftul, the frame hangs down quite a bit on a blazer, even more than on an s10 so it would look kind of dumb

I ran mine _under_ the axle. It's the only way that I could get the exhaust to exit in roughly the factory location with 3" pipe. When my exhaust dude first suggested it, I was leary, but I have had zero problems with it dragging or getting in the way. If you dump it before the axle it will be ridiculously loud in the cab.

I've got a 2000 4x4 blazer with a 4" drop, and I have no problems whatsoever with the exhaust. And it is full length, with 2.5" pipe. I would look at the truck yourself, and if the shop that is working on your truck has problems, i would look for someone else to do it.

it depends where the muffler is put in, have a new pipe bent from the muffler back, but even with the stock pipe it shouldent be a problem
