i blame it on all the road construction going on

and im going to need more than that 1" that the crossmember will give me.

i agree....ive been on rough construction and im 4/5 and nothing has happened to mine slow the **** down

the damn bump was one of those you just dont see coming... lol..

wasn't going at that fast... but my head and the roof knew when i hit it.
That bump was fixed shortly after i did it. THat bad of a bump

the color of the asphalt just kinda hid it from sight


someone else said

"you hit something in the road or something came up and smacked it.. theres NO way that tank hit the ground.. you still have your bumpstops in.... i have mine cut off and i hit the frame before my tank is anywhere near the ground...

btw.. im sure what you heard was your axle hittin the bumpstop mount"

I hit a big speed bump last week with my 5/6 doing about 30 km/hr and there want no damage on my truck....are you sure you havent backed into a tall curb or something??
that is pretty unusual to see....just replace that tank (if its leaking), i dont think you could do that twice

Well if the bump is gone and as long as you don't go hitting any more 5 foot ditches at 90 then you shouldn't have to relocate. If there are no problems with the fuel pump and stuff I would just leave it along.

i have owned the truck since late december. I got bored during my lunch one day at
school and put them on. I figure i would have seen the tank though if it was already there.

like the one guy on blazinlow said... he thinks something was in the road and hit it or something like that. He says he hits his frame before the tank.

BUt if it is not leaking im good?

if it isant leeking the fuel pump is farther forwaed than that.
