w im gladu want some 17's... especially 17s on a unlowered s-10.:bs: ow smart comment .:
Torq Thrust II's are polished, not chrome, boner:flipoff: . Also, if i got 17's I would probably lower my truck a little.

the tt2's are polished and the torq thrust d's are painted gray, they aren't chrome

hey, if you ding those up, just turn a new spoke on a lathe, sand it up, then replace it. you can also paint or stain them any color you like.

I think they're going to have to add a third bling to bling bling. :gay: I wouldn't touch anything like that with a ten foot pole. I'll stick to the teens on wheel sizes thank you. There's nothing like a good set of 17" torq thrust II's. Bling Bling is CRAP!!!
got that right! what do these things weigh? 40lbs? that centrifical foce is goinna make some queer handling.

i wonder what series tires are on the 30"s......-7045????

anyways, id pimp any of those (with esseption of the 30":dunno:) only if i had a 2k2 pearl white esco, i hate when people put 20"s on a huge truck (with huge wheelwells/fenders) and fill the rest with tire. if youre gonna go, go all the way. lexani went mainstream (readily availibe) with their 26"s

(BTW: do they come in any other designs?:dunce: )

btw: i think sema is about companies showing what they CAN do, its like an ego trip. "hey look what i can do, i got 30s"

IMO I'd much rather have chrome than polished aluminum...I thought you were joking when you said chrome sucks 98greenmachine. Why does chrome suck? Yes I agree the 30" wheels make the drug dealers clade's look like a clown car, but 17, 18, or 20" wheels on a S-dime look sweet. I think most of you agree. Just look at the Torque Thrust pics...the chrome looks 10 times better than the polished. I wish my eagle's were chrome. Chrome doesn't always mean bling bling....that sounds like something the ricers say "My plastic rims make me faster" lol..IMO.

i would try some "Mothers" mag. and alum. polish... or Eagle makes a wading... "Neverdul" or somthing like that... it works good. i used both on my Keystone Raiders. i took 2nd at a car show... i the judge was impressed with the wheels

No doubt aluminum can be polished to look like chrome but after you drive 500 miles on a trip, you have to polish the hell out of the rims again, with chrome you bust out the windex and you wipe them off with a clean rag.

My dad has polished aluminum rims on his street rod that he barely drives, and the quality of the metal is awsome in the centerlines the aluminum is alot more shiny then the 212's i have (junk)
Eventually I hope to get a set of foose wheels and have them chromed for my next project.
