I am bagging my front and im going to get a york compressor. Will i have to remove my ac to install the compressor on my 96 4.3 v6 blazer? and should i remove my abs unit or just relocate it, which would be easier?
I don't think you have to do either of those things. Airlift makes a bracket kit for the truck and you don't have to remove A/C or ABS, nor modify them.
But i will have to either remove the abs or relocate it when i bag my front or i will not lay out. and i know they make brackets for the york, but i just wasn't sure if my a/c would get in the way.
u will not loose any functions. just installed installed my bracket on a 2001 4.3 with ease. my bracket uses a serp belt unlike the other companies that wimp out and go with a v bolt and charge an arm and leg. i will have a kit out shortly.
pm me if interested ill get u pics of the install, a 2001 is more complicated but us stil have ac and everythingwith my brackets. i can supply the compressor if u want or u can purchase one.
