ok on my 85 s15, 2.8L, i want to ditch the stock exhaust, and i am just gonna add a glasspack in place of a muffler. my question is where should i place the glasspack? i am ditching the cat(no emissions in NM, plus its the original) and want to do a turn down. Would it be ok to just weld the flanges from the factory cat onto the glass pack(sp it will just bolt into place) and weld a turn down pipe right at the first exhaust hanger past the cat(but still before the axle)?

will it sound okay? any ideas, comments, flames are more than welcome. thanks all!

Make sure your pipe extends past the back of the cab before you dump it. Don't wanna see a thread in the Wrecked Rides section titled "Carbon Monoxide leaked in. Passed out at the wheel"...
