Hi all,

It's been a while. Looks like my last project post was in 2016...but they say you never leave your first.

Anyways, I figured hey why not try to resurrect forums since Facebook sucks SO BAD anymore.

Back in November of 2017, I bid on a 1988 S-15 in Pottstown, PA. Minimum bid, $510. Didn't think anything of it for 10 days.

She's beautiful, isn't she? Hadn't been registered since 2002. Sitting in a dirt grave, waiting for a scrapper.

Amazed I got away with dollying that thing with those tires. Sheeew.

Started to get it cleaned up and running. The old iron duke was tired, but ready for a couple more miles....

And of course, lowered.

Went a little crazy on the interior restoration.

Smaller wheel and that shifter, tach cluster. Old Pioneer 1.5 din to just finish it right off.

But then, the dukie timing gear exploded going 70. Around Chicago. Right before Carlisle 2019. With the AC, just cruising. Boom.

Then my trailer broke.

What a time.

Put a new gear in, nope. no oil pressure. The Mikarta killed the ol duke.

So I made the decision to dump way more time and money into the truck than it was worth, and I did it 'cheap'...lol

Still haven't gotten AC back on it, lol.

A now here we are, beginning of show season 2022. I can't wait!

Been driving it with the LS since 2020. Everything happened with the Duke in 2019.
