so i started wiring my system last night and i ran into another question. I am using 4 gauge power wire, do i need to use the same gauge ground wire, or will 8 work? also, what about RCAs and the remote wire?

You never wanna use a SMALLER gauge ground wire, as that will increase resistance...If anything, use a bigger ground wire than the power wire...

I never like the little tiny remote wire with RCA's, so if i get a pair with it, i just disregard that wire, and run a seperate 12-14g remote wire :)

16 gauge remote wire will be just fine. Simply go to Home Depot in the electrical department. Get 15-20 feet of 16 gauge stranded THNN blue wire. It should cost less than $0.50.

RCAS.... Look in my sig for the FAQ post link. In there is a tutorial on how to make your own RCAs. If not, I strongly support knukonceptz.com :D
