I've read several post and watched a couple of videos. I see where those have used c-clamps, pliers with spacers, just their fingers. Read a few post on procedures.

Now my question. Has anyone put some oil, grease or spray silicone on the area where they snap together?

No.

I laid my glass on the hood, used a socket underneath the window and flipped a harbor freight screwdriver over and used the round rubber handle to jam that in. Was able to do all 4.

had a mini c clamp but it didn’t work out.

had to lay on it pretty hard to get it to go in. Once you do one or two the others will be easier. The first one or two are a bit of a ****
