I'd be interested too. The only way I could see that fitting behind the dash is if the pedal is positioned way closer to the drivers foot compared to all the other pedals. Which would be very uncomfortable to drive.

This setup I built for Nater2004's 95 S10 Bodied on 18s. He had his raised and mounted on the firewall but it got ripped off when he hit a rather large bump while riding low.

It fit well. Obviously was a good amount of work. Had to cut the stock aluminum bracket that holds the clutch n brake pedals quite a bit to make room. Next time I have my dash out I will take pics. The pedal feels good also. It's in a good position. The pedal depth is adjustable.

I dont have one in my personal truck yet. I have used them in clutch kits though and everyone says they work amazing. A lot more smooth and uniform pedal movement then stock.

I do have one in the garage though, I will put it up next to the stock s10 master tomorrow when I am out there for comparison.
any chance in a photo of the two side by side?

Besides getting the correct fittings and swapping to braided stainless line, then not really. You would need to pull the pedal from the truck and grid off the stud. It's pressed in so just grind the larger backside off and then hit it out with a punch and hammer.

The heim joint in the picture is a 5/16 RH thread female stud heim from speedway motors. It is turned out pretty much all the way in the picture so you would need to extend the rod.

If you bought a male heim, you could use a coupling nut of the same thread and pitch to extend the rod far enough so that you would need no pedal modifications.

The connection for the slave cylinder on the stock line looks to be the same as the one I ordred from hinsonsupercars.com (link above)

Im pretty sure that line is only t56 specific. Line length will depend on your line routing. I'd say with a 4 foot line you should be good. But figure out how you want to run it and add a foot for extra length.

t56:

S10 (nv1500/nv3500)

So the line is different? I googled to see what the stock line looked like and didn't find a lot, but most of the pics looked like this

Unless it's a generic photo...

Im just going off photos myself also. It looks like the 98+ s10 slave cylinder may also have the same style push to connect fitting that the t56 has based on your image. Im not sure if it is the same size.

This is the part image I have for a replacement line on rockauto for a 02 2.2 5 speed:

DORMAN Part # 628216

This is the ACdelco replacement slave:

ACDELCO Part # 386468

Im not familiar with how that style fitting works so I cannot provide any information whether it will work or not.

Sorry to bring up a decently old thread but did anyone ever find out if the T56 steel braided hose would work with the 98+ 5 Speed tranny and the wilwood master?

I ordered one of the Flip kits from GET_LOW and everything turned out great but now Im trying to figure out this whole tranny line deal because I just put the cab back on the truck and put the wiring harness through the firewall. Trying to avoid pulling it back off to pull the transmission and put the new fittings in. Just trying to see if I can use the stock fitting on a steel braided line and run it to the new wilwood master cylinder

what year? i got a flip kit from get low too bolt in for 98+ and it is well built cant wait to try it out. i got an extra clutch fitting if you need one since they come in 2 packs and i only needed the one, just pay shipping if you want it. if you got 98+ i dont thing theres any way around it you will have to pull the trans. i searched for awhile and its the only way i found to be able to hook a line too. i wish i would of ran a 6" line out so in the future i can un hook the line from the trans on the outside if ever needed
