i'm running 225/50/16 and the truck sits on the fenders. so you won't be able to lay out with that tire size. I'm planning on upgrading to 225/45/16 which is the right tire size if you want to lay out IMO
I have 215/45/17 24" tall and I am 2" form the ground but a 22" tall tire will lay with the stock fenders. that is on my 2000 I have 2" drop spindles and I am sitting on the A-arms/fender Real hard to tell what hits first
hahahaha yeah i have a 94 2.2 and i just too out the fender wells and cut the inner fender, and notched the frame for the lower control arms. this is more than enough for layin 45/R17's which means that is enough for 40/R18's. i have more than enough room.
