i'm running 225/50/16 and the truck sits on the fenders. so you won't be able to lay out with that tire size. I'm planning on upgrading to 225/45/16 which is the right tire size if you want to lay out IMO

When people say they are on the A-arms does that mean you guys dont have drop spindles? Or do you guys have drop spindles and the arms are hitting the frame?

I have 215/45/17 24" tall and I am 2" form the ground but a 22" tall tire will lay with the stock fenders. that is on my 2000 I have 2" drop spindles and I am sitting on the A-arms/fender Real hard to tell what hits first

Yes, when u hit lca's it means u either need tube's or u gotta notch frame or arm itself....also if u have a 2.2 97- and plan on layin 18 or larger..I found myself hitting my down pipe...just some fyi

Oh okay, So this problem is only for the 97-+ trucks? Seems like everywhere you look the 94-96s tend to have an advantage with lowering.
