1991 2.5 Duke, will not hardly stay running in the mornings when it cold. If it's in the 50s it does alright. When I first start it up it will idle for 45 sec to a min, then the caos comes. It starts spitting and coughing then dies. I get in start it up head to work it just bucks and kicks and it will shut off 20 times in 10 miles on 30 mile trip before it gets cleared out to run and it runs decent then. New Distributor, both coolants sensors, new timing gear, pump.

well, sqa ure chevy it's a 31 year old vehicle. Take it to a shop, get it looked at correctly.

Sounds like egr/egr sensor. But could be tons of other things. I would take bk2life's recomendation and bring it to a shop.

Gee , that's not good. With this wealth of info it'll probably stay a mystery awhile longer.
