Guy I just picked up a complete SS suspension from a 98...shocks, springs, sways, and that 5th shock on the rear-end minus the bracket I need to fabricate....and also a set or SS Rims and Tires.

I own a 96 LS 2.2.

Is there anything else somebody might recommend while I've got everything else apart.

I do need to get my Rear Drums redone, and I have a leaking axle seal I need to replace that isn't that bad. I would like to get blazer rear discs if it were possible to do a swap like that. And I'd also like to have an Auburn LSD swapped in if that is something that needs to be taken apart anyways to get the seals changed (I was told the axles have to come out).

But I'm new with S10's and I really don't know a whole lot just yet...so any ideas or heads up, do this or that would be really cool. Thanks.

You could get some drilled/slotted rotors for the front. Prolly wont do much for the 2.2 but it would look good...

Just got new rotors and pads about 2.5 months back for the Fronts. If I do it again, it will probably be some SSBC or Camaro Upgrade. My stock Rotors look tiny in those SS Wheels though.

But portfield pads or something of the like wouldn't be a bad idea. I just purchased some Synthetic DOT Brake Fluid too for a CRX, rear disc swap. If it works better than DOT4 spec, I may try it on the S10.

Anybody know if the ABS can use anything other than DOT 3 spec fluid?

I never thought of that. Hey the pictures below is what I got from the yard. I'm not sure if powdercoating the suspension parts is worthwhile...
