I have a 2003 chevy s10 zr2. I recently replaced most of my front suspension components excluding the shocks. My front wheels have a negative camber that I can't seem to get rid of. Just yesterday I snapped my pitman arm and replaced it. But now whenever I turn, the front wheels make a chirping sound as if they are losing traction. Truck is 4x4 but it's been in 2wd. Granted the front tires are worn horribly now because of the camber but I wouldn't expect this to cause such problems. Any help to point me in the right direction is greatly appreciated!
Are you sure the indicator isn't just saying it's in 2wd? What your describing sounds a lot like driving in 4wd on dry pavement. It can't hurt to put it up on jack stand and put it in drive and see if all four start moving.
