could that tbi mainfold be from a 93? or did they stop that by then?

There was a 2.8L TBI available in 93. That manifold looks like it could be from that year. Has the right EGR location.

ok maybe its adding up now. The block casting date code ends in 3. The head casting date code ends in 3 and the intake could be from a 93. But why does it have hybrid vbelts/serpentine which from my reading only comes in 86? If its a 93 then would it have a internally balanced large diameter journal crank? Thank you.

Yes
Which bolt on accessories it has bolted onto it would apply to what year truck it was installed in.

So your saying the 93 engine was installed in an 86 where it picked up the hybrid pulleys and then it was picked out of the 86 and installed into my 85?
