i have a std cab s10 and i want to put a 10" sub in. and was wondering if any of ya'll could recommend a sub that would sound good in one of the small truck boxs. ive been told by other people the solobaric l7 sound good as well as some of the jl audio subs. but i just wanna have some more opinions before i buy anything. also keep in mind i don't know alot about car audio when you answer me.

i had/have a set of MTX Thunder 6000s that sounded damn good for being squashed into wedge boxes. still have them if youre interested.

just my .02 worth....

i like the Kicker L7 and L5 line... when you install them just fill the box as full as you can with poly fill. it will help make the sub a little more punchyer. i did that same thing when i had my 97 stand. cab with 2 L5 8" DVC4 and a 1200.1.... then i bought a new truck and got bigger......
